How does CBD interact with your body?

  The human body has a collection of receptors that interact with molecules in cannabis called cannabinoids, such as CBD. These receptors, which are found throughout the body, are called the endocannabinoid system and are used to maintain essential body functions and homeostasis. Cannabinoids like CBD interact with this system, reproducing natural compounds called endocannabinoids produced by your bodies. CBD impacts the movement of cannabinoid receptors in the human body and supports the creation of the body's normal endocannabinoids. Interestingly, CBD also affects activity beyond the endocannabinoid system and can also interact with opioid, dopaminergic, and serotonergic receptors.
